Return policy

We are happy to help you with the return or exchange of your order. This page explains how you can best register your return or exchange with us. A separate procedure applies for registering a return from different countries. Please click on the country you’d like to return from.

Returns from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria
Returning goods in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria is always free of charge if the return is registered in our return portal. The approval period of products of Le Nouveau Chef is 14 days, starting on the day the goods have been delivered. During this term the goods may be examined and tried on, to judge whether or not the size is right, unless stated otherwise. If goods are delivered, please check if everything is in correct order and complete. In case anything is missing or defect please contact us immediately to discuss further action.

Return procedure

  • Fill out the packing list completely. In case you don’t have it anymore, ask the sales department for a new one.
  • Create a return label via our return portal.
  • Enter your postal code and track-and-trace code (starting with JVGL or 0516). This can be found on the shipping label on the parcel or in the confirmation email that you received from us.
  • Print the return label and attach it to the parcel.
  • Add the fully completed packing list to the parcel.

Return free of charge
Returning goods is only free of charge from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria, if the return is registered in our return portal. If you return the parcel in another way, the made costs can not be charged to Le Nouveau Chef. In case the goods are not meeting your expectations you can return them if:

  • The approval period of 14 days has not yet expired
  • The goods have not be worn or washed
  • The goods are returned in their original state and packaging
  • The goods have not been amended or personalized (i.e. embroidery)
  • The packing list (included in the package) has been filled in completely and correctly and send together with the goods to Le Nouveau Chef

Exceptions
Personalized items (embroidery/printing/adjustments to the model) can unfortunately not be returned/exchanged, unless there is a production failure. In addition, invoiced freight and handling costs will not be credited in the case of a partial return, as well as the extra costs incurred by a customer for returning goods.

Returns from France
An order with Le Nouveau Chef has a return period of 14 days from the moment you received the order. The article may be viewed, assessed and / or appropriate within this period, unless stated otherwise.

Create a return label through our return portal . Please include the tracking number you will find on the package or in the email sent by us. Then state the number of items to be returned and the reason for the return.

Place the return document in the package you want to return to us.

We will proceed with the refund corresponding to the returned items. Exchange of products is currently not possible. Please order again if necessary.

Returns from France are free of charge if:

  • the item will be returned within 14 days;
  • the item has not been used or washed;
  • we receive the item in its original condition and in its (factory) packaging;
  • items are not personalized / embroidered;

Immediately after receiving the order, check whether the items are undamaged and complete. If this is not the case, we request that you contact us as soon as possible to report this. If the package is returned in any other way, the costs incurred by you cannot be recovered from Le Nouveau Chef.

Returns from other countries
Returns from countries other than the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Austria is possible within 14 days after receipt of the goods. To speed up the process, we ask you to fill in the packing list completely. Please state the reason for the return and whether or not you would like to exchange the product for a different one and if so, which product. Freight costs incurred for shipping back products to us will not be reimbursed by Le Nouveau Chef. Please also include your bank details when you want to return a product/order.
